CV Faculty<\/strong>
\nMr. Jorge Simorte Ripoll, graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alicante and currently a PhD student at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). He has 5 years of experience in technical development of R&D&I projects focused on increasing sustainability and environmental efficiency (Circular Economy, Industrial Symbiosis). Advisor and consultant in quality aspects and environmental legislation (environmental regulations, carbon footprint…).<\/p>\n

The objectives pursued for this course are:

\n– Review the different existing international methodologies for calculating the carbon footprint.
\n– To know the calculation methodology
\n– Learn about the calculation of the carbon footprint on a real case.<\/p>\n

\n> Introduction to the Carbon Footprint
\n> Carbon Footprint approaches and types of emissions
\n> Methodology for calculation: concepts, phases and selection of the appropriate standard
\n> Carbon Footprint Opportunities: Reduction, Offsetting, Communication and Competitiveness<\/p>\n

Calculation of organizational and product carbon footprints
\n> Standards: GHG Protocol, MITECO Guidance, PAS 2050
\n> Calculation Methodologies: IPCC 2006 Guidelines
\n> Scopes
\n> Footprint calculation
\n> Reduction and compensation<\/p>\n

Case 1. Carbon footprint in organization.
\n> Identify GHG sources
\n> Dividing emissions into scopes
\n> Calculation of scope 1 + 2 emissions
\n> Calculation of emissions ranges 3
\n> Emissions reduction<\/p>\n

Case 2. Product carbon footprint calculation
\n> Identify sources of GHG emissions
\n> Process sources
\n> Dividing emissions and scopes
\n> Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions calculation<\/p>\n

Price<\/strong>
\nAIJU members\/unemployed: 120 euros.
\nNon AIJU members: 144 euros.<\/p>\n

\nOnce your application has been accepted, AIJU will inform you when payment is due.
\nIMPORTANT: The pre-enrollment application is also a commitment to pay in case of being admitted to the training action. Cancellations with the right to a refund or cancellation of payment will only be accepted if they are communicated to AIJU at least 5 working days before the start date. Once the student’s place has been confirmed, if he\/she does not attend the course and does not give notice, he\/she will be charged the full amount of the course.
