– Dr. M.ª Luisa MarÃn: PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Alicante in the branch of Analytical Chemistry. She started as a specialist technician in the AIJU Laboratory more than 15 years ago and is currently responsible for the chemical area. Expert in legislation and chemical regulations of children’s products and other consumer products, a field in which she develops her professional activity and in which she has published several scientific and technical papers. Extensive experience in technological services and services to companies in different industrial sectors (toy, plastic, food…). Researcher in a large number of national and international R&D projects. She is a regular lecturer and has made presentations at congresses, conferences and training workshops related to these topics.
– Mrs. Alejandra Segura: Industrial Technical Engineer specializing in Chemistry from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). Master’s degree in Chemical Science and Technology from the UNED. Technician specialist in the chemical area of AIJU since 2008. Extensive experience in legislation related to the use of chemicals in the manufacture of consumer products, mainly in relation to the REACH Regulation. Manager of national and European R&D&I projects, mainly related to improving product safety. Regular trainer on legislation, regulations and chemical requirements for consumer products.
Objectives:
– To clarify the scope of application of the legislation on food contact materials.
– Know the requirements for labeling, instructions and graphic symbols.
– Learn how to plan analytical tests and the practical considerations for their performance.
– Manage documentation such as declarations of conformity or test reports.

– Application of analytical tests on plastic materials in contact with food.
– Documentary requirements: Declaration of conformity, test reports, etc.
– Legislative developments.
Price:
AIJU-unemployed members: 230 euros; 2nd assistant and following from the same company: 20% discount. Lunch included.
Non AIJU members: 276 euros; 2nd and subsequent attendees from the same company: 20% discount. Lunch included.

Once your application has been accepted, AIJU will inform you when payment is due.
IMPORTANT: The pre-enrollment application is also a commitment to pay in case of being admitted to the training action. Cancellations with the right to a refund or cancellation of payment will only be accepted if they are communicated to AIJU at least 5 working days before the start date. Once the student’s place has been confirmed, if he/she does not attend the course and does not give notice, he/she will be charged the full amount of the course.
AIJU reserves the right to cancel or postpone this course if the minimum enrollment is not reached.
